21,000 sq ft and expanding in Sheffield

The unit next door came up last year and we took it, 6,365 sq ft of additional space. We'd rather grow into the building beside us than move, because moving a fulfilment operation is disruptive for every client on the floor at the time. Nobody's orders should be late because their 3PL is changing address.

Where is Cloud9 Fulfilment based?

Unit 3-4, Parkway Link, Kettlebridge Road, Sheffield, S9 3AJ. It's a purpose-built industrial estate off the Sheffield Parkway, with the M1 a short run away.

That sounds like a detail. It isn't. Plenty of smaller 3PLs operate out of units tucked into residential areas or converted yards, and it shows up in ways their clients feel. Artics that can't get in. Drivers who won't attempt the turn. Collections missed because the access is tight and the last van of the day gave up.

Ours is an estate built for lorries. Your inbound arrives when it's supposed to. Your outbound leaves when it's supposed to.

Do you only work with Sheffield businesses?

No. We fulfil for brands across the UK and overseas from a single Sheffield site.

Sheffield is where we are, not who we serve. Being central and on the motorway network is the reason it works. Your stock comes in from anywhere, your orders go out to everywhere, and the carrier network doesn't care that we're in South Yorkshire.

What happens at Black Friday and seasonal peaks?

We hold additional overflow storage with a third-party partner, and bring it on when volumes spike.

Black Friday doesn't get easier. It gets bigger. Most clients never need the overflow. It means we don't have to tell you we're full in the week you can least afford to hear it.

Can I visit the warehouse?

Yes. Clients and prospects are welcome to visit, walk the floor and sit down with the team.
